Former FBI Interviewer Found Knoedler’s Freedman Without ‘Fraudulent Intent’

The Art Newspaper reports today on a “document dump” in the federal case of Ann Freedman and her now defunct Knoedler gallery, which closed amid accusations of forgery.

Among the many revelations were that, in interviews, the “former head of the FBI’s art-crime team” found Freedman “credible and her actions ‘inconsistent with a fraudulent intent.'”
