A Final Miami Post: Toasting Andy Warhol

Not to toot our own horns, but Eric Shiner, the former director of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, has a new book out called The Impossible Collection of Warhol, which offers a close look at the late artist’s ouevre, and to celebrate its release, its publisher, Assouline, joined with Sotheby’s and ARTnews for a dinner and party during Miami Basel, on December 7. Staged at the pop-up location of Montauk redoubt the Surf Lodge at the W hotel in Miami Beach, the event was titled “The Factory Party” and featured a performance by Young Paris.
