

The complaint calls for the return of unsold artwork and additionally alleges that Morris was owed money by the gallery. It also “seeks unspecified damages and injunctive relief against the gallery for copyright infringement, breach of contract and unjust enrichment,” Courthouse News reports.
When ARTnews contacted Pop International Galleries proprietor Jeff Jaffe, it was the first the owner had heard of the suit and he had to pull up the Courthouse News website during the phone call. His response, naturally, was “no comment.”
