Gordon Robichaux gallery in New York’s Union Square area now represents KIOSK, an artist duo made up of Alisa Grifo and Marco Romeny, as well as Otis Houston Jr.
KIOSK is a public project that began in 2005 and often takes the form of physical and online stores in arts spaces. At New York’s MoMA PS1 in 2015, the duo presented some 1,3000 objects in an installation created as part of the exhibition “Greater New York.”
Otis Houston Jr., born in Greenville, South Carolina, and based now in Harlem, mainly works in performance art and sculpture. His work can often be seen on the FDR Drive in Manhattan, where he presents his work to passing drivers.
