Adding special agency to the campaign to keep Britain Stronger In Europe. Daniel Craig just sent this photograph. Don’t trust opinion polls. Every single vote matters. Please make time to go to the polls this Thursday. Well, look at that!
Voters in Great Britain go to the polls tomorrow to decide whether to stay in the European Union, and Wolfgang Tillmans has been an especially strong supporter of Remain, as the pro-EU campaign has been termed. Now it seems that Daniel Craig is on the same team.
How great would it be if someone made a T-shirt of this photo (which David Cameron just shared on Twitter) and then took a photo of Tillmans wearing it—a kind of mise en abyme of attractive, artistically talented men? (You can have that idea.)
Speaking of the Brexit vote, the editors over at Frieze had the excellent idea of asking prominent British artists, designers, writers, and the like how they will be voting. Not surprisingly, everyone is in the Remain camp, even Damien Hirst, whom you could sort of imagine being pro-Brexit just to be contrarian. Some of the responses—which took the form of short essays, photographs, and even collages (Hirst!)—are pretty excellent. Have a look.
