Here’s the Video That Darren Bader Showed at Art Basel This Year

A big thank you to the colleague who just noted in a Facebook post that the Darren Bader video that appeared in Art Basel’s Art Unlimited section in June is now available to watch online. The very funny and deeply weird 13-minute cartoon is titled The Vagrant, and it is undated, as is Bader’s custom. Set far in the future, it concerns the history of sculpture in outer space. Let’s just leave it at that. You can view it below. In other Bader news, Primary Information just released a Bader book, 77 and/or 58 and/with 19, featuring certificate texts for 77 of his sculptures, which are often composed of readymade objects and sometimes include people. My personal favorite is person sitting in passenger seat of car.
