All three artists have serious institutional pedigree. Herndon received her M.F.A. in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College and is currently a doctoral student studying composition at Stanford University. In 2013 she was part of the exhibition “ADA” at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, where she provided part of the musical accompaniment to an industrial robot turned light sculpture created by the artist Conrad Shawcross and inspired by the Victorian mathematician Ada Lovelace.
Self is currently a Bard Milton Avery M.F.A. Candidate in music/sound and has been a recipient of both Eyebeam and Shandanken residencies. In 2014 he created the contemporary opera The Fool with Raul De Nieves, which was presented at Issue Project Room in Brooklyn. Dryhurst records for the renowned experimental music label PAN and is the creator of Saga, a video hosting platform intended to give creators more contextual control of their output. Together with Herndon, Dryhurst staged the 2015 exhibition “Everywhere & Nowhere” at Kunstverin Hamburg. Tour dates below.
