The KW Institute for Contemporary Art announced a new artistic team today, with Anna Gritz, Leaver-Yap, Tirdad Zohlgadr, Maurin Dietrich, Cathrin Mayer, and Marc Hollenstein joining the Berlin museum’s staff. The news comes a few months after Krist Gruijthuijsen was named the museum’s director.
Gritz has joined the museum as a curator, Leaver-Yap and Zohlgadr are now associate curators, Dietrich and Mayer are associate curators and project managers, and Hollenstein will be the museum’s graphic designer.
The international team comes from various art institutions around the world. Gritz previously worked at the South London Gallery and was a curatorial attaché on this year’s Biennale of Sydney. Dietrich and Mayer both worked on this year’s Berlin Biennale, part of which is currently on view at the KW. Together, the new team will work on projects with artists that will be exhibited at the museum and around the city of Berlin.
