Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show: “Mangelos: a retrospective of exhibitions 1972–1981” is on view at Peter Freeman, Inc. in New York through Friday, May 27. The solo exhibition, curated by François Piron, looks at five exhibitions presented in the former Yugoslavia in the 1970s, and the way in which the Croatian artist conceived them.
