Following a four-year stint with the New Art Dealers Alliance, Manuela Paz is moving into a new role at Independent Curators International as director of development and strategic planning. She begins at ICI tomorrow.
Prior to working at NADA as the group’s membership and special programs director, Paz had been the Armory Show’s director of VIP relations. She worked at the fair for eight years, beginning first as an assistant and later leaving in 2013 to begin at NADA.
“Her energy and experience will help further ICI’s mission to advance curatorial practice, foster international engagement, and promote broad access to contemporary art everywhere,” Renaud Proch, the executive director of ICI, said in a statement.
