Today the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis announced that Monica Nassif will be the new president of its board of trustees. Nassif, a founder and former CEO of Caldrea/Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Company, will serve as the board’s president for two years beginning September 12.
In a press statement Walker Art Center Executive Director Olga Viso said, “Monica Nassif has been a dedicated supporter of the Walker Art Center since joining the Board of Trustees in 2009. Her steadfast leadership and passion for the institution’s mission will be invaluable, especially as we complete the Walker campus renovation and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden reconstruction this spring.”
The museum also announced that four new members have joined the board: David Berg, Ralph Chu, Mark Jordahl, and R.D. Zimmerman.
