Today, it was announced that the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum—the Zaha Hadid-designed contemporary art museum on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, which opened in 2012—has received a million-dollar grant from the MSU Federal Credit Union to assist in the creation of a new space across the street from the institution.
The expansion will include a research center and also new display spaces that will allow for expanded access to the museum’s 7,500-piece collection, which was in part inherited from the Kresge Art Museum, the school’s former museum.
