Nicole Eisenman has moved her New York representation over to Anton Kern, a gallery representative confirmed today. Back in March, Eisenman had announced on Twitter (through an account that no longer exists) that she was leaving Koenig & Clinton: “I left my NY Gallery. Done. And. Done.”
When asked why, Eisenman told ARTnews over email, “I have been working with Leo since 2002 and more recently with Margaret Clinton, that’s a long time, I just felt it is time to try something different. We’re still close and Leo will potentially be producing a sculpture project for Sculpture Munster in 2017.”
Eisenman was not immediately available for comment.
