Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show: “No to the Invasion: Breakdowns and Side Effects” is on view at CCS Bard Galleries, at Bard College, in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, through Saturday, October 29. The group exhibition, which is presented in collaboration with the Barjeel Art Foundation, brings together works made between 1990 and 2016 that reference “significant histories and conflicts across the Arabic-speaking world,” according to a press release. Exhibited artists include Kader Attia, Yto Barrada, Ali Cherri, Fouad Elkoury, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Mona Hatoum, Basim Magdy, Sophia Al Maria, Farah Al Qasimi, Walid Raad, and Ala Younis.
