The Park Avenue Armory in New York has announced a working list of artists, writers, and civic figures who will participate in “Culture in a Changing America,” a daylong symposium that will mark the first manifestation of an ongoing 2017 series called “Interrogations of Form.” The opening program, on February 19, will feature an afternoon of panels, artist salons, and performances surrounding themes of “genre, gender, race, and citizenship in the new political landscape,” a statement explains. The event, to take place in the Armory’s historic period rooms (smaller but grander than its cavernous Drill Hall), is hosted in partnership with the Aspen Institute Arts Program.
