The Drawing Center in New York has tapped Rebecca Brickman as its new director of development, following her time as manager of institutional giving at MoMA PS1, where she has worked since 2015. In her new role, Brickman will oversee fundraising and special events as well as coordinate partnerships and new initiatives.
Laura Hoptman, the Drawing Center’s executive director, said in a release, “Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to this crucial senior position. We look forward to envisioning the next chapter of the organization with her, and working together to make that vision a reality.”
Hoptman took up her job leading the decades-old Drawing Center last fall, leaving her role as curator of painting and sculpture at MoMA, where she had worked since 2010.
