Sara Roffino has been appointed executive editor of Cultured Magazine. She takes over the role from Tali Jaffe, who has worked for the publication since its inception eight years ago and who will now continue as a contributing editor.
Cultured’s founder, Sarah Harrelson, said in a statement, “I am thrilled to welcome Sara Roffino as our new executive editor. She brings excellent experience, a sharp eye and will focus on bringing new writing talent to our pages.”
Roffino, who has worked at numerous arts publications, including Galerie, Modern Painters, the Brooklyn Rail, and Artnet News, most recently served as senior editor of Art+Auction. In a statement, Roffino said, “I could not be happier about joining the tremendous team at Cultured. I have long admired the publication’s vision and sensibility and I can’t wait to contribute to its next chapter of growth.”
