SculptureCenter has announced that it will host a new three-week summer concert series in their outdoor courtyard called HOLDING SPACE, which will feature artists and musicians working in the “cutting edge of music production,” according to a press release. Sam Hillmer—the cofounder and director of programming at the outsider music venue Trans-Pecos, who also goes by the moniker Diamond Terrifier—will serve as guest curator.
HOLDING SPACE, which begins on Saturday, June 11, will occur at the same time as MoMA PS1’s annual summer Warm Up series, which also features experimental music and DJs and occurs only blocks away at MoMA PS1. A press release also notes that the $10 ticket price includes one drink.
The concert series will take place from 5–8:30 p.m. on three consecutive Saturdays in June. Below, the lineup.
