Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show:“Sylvia Bataille” is on view at Joan in Los Angeles through Sunday, December 20. The group exhibition, which includes work by Michel Auder, John Boskovich, Harry Dodge, and Kevin Zucker, brings together objects, photographs, and installations that are, in various ways, responses to futile attempts to piece together a biography of the obscure French actress that provides its title.
