The show–which will take over nine themed galleries across two floors at Saatchi’s London outpost before embarking on a four-year, 11 city world tour–will feature all of the Hard Rock Cafe-esque memorabilia and ephemera one has come to expect from these kind of things, along with a relatively steep entry fee, compared to Saatchi’s usual cover charge of “free.”
Entry prices will start at £15 and just go up from there, with steeper fees for “premium” viewing times (Saturday afternoons). Tickets go on sale July 10. The Independent already made a joke about how these tickets are still much cheaper than “front row seats for the Stones current US tour,” but I’m going to double down on that joke and say they are still much cheaper than the worst seats in the house for the Stones current US tour.
A red-carpet opening of the Saatchi exhibition will happen on April 5, 2016, with The Rolling Stones in attendance.
