Today’s show: “TRANS-Ville: Act One” was performed at Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in New York on Wednesday, September 27. The first of a three-part performance series, done in collaboration with curator Coco Dolle, it presented vaudeville-inspired “original, short acts combining body, word, sound, and concept works [that play] with notions of transition,” according to a release. Participating artists included Christen Clifford, Jahmal B. Golden, Jennifer Elster, Jerome AB, Lindsay Dye, and The Henry.
