De Bellis, on the other hand, will be relocating to Minneapolis from Milan. He cofounded the Peep-Hole Art Center there in 2009, and has served as artistic dorector of the Milan International Fair of Modern and Contemporary Art—or Miart, as its styles itself—since 2012. At the Walker, de Bellis will lead grant and campus initiatives, including the forthcoming renovation of the Walker campus and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, and will head the acquisition of works for the institution’s permanent collection.
