The Andy Warhol Foundation has elected Igor DaCosta the chair of its board and brought on three new board members: Paul Ha, Ruby Lerner, and Anne Pasternak.
DaCosta, who is succeeding Larry Rinder in the top spot, is currently managing director of Portfolio Advisors, and was previously co-head of DLJ Investment Partners at Credit Suisse. He is also a board member of Contemporary Art Daily and was president of Artists Space until 2012.
As for the board members, Ha is the director of the MIT List Visual Arts Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lerner is the founding executive director of Creative Capital, and Pasternak is the director of the Brooklyn Museum.
In a press statement, the Warhol Foundation’s president, Joel Wachs, said that the addition of the new board members “gives the board the strength of proven leadership in the foundation’s most important constituencies: artists and the nonprofit art institutions that support them.”
