Armenia’s ministry of culture announced today that its pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale will feature a group show of artists from the Armenian diaspora, and mark the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. The 16 artists tapped for the exhibition, which is titled “Armenity,” follow below, with their current nationality:

As at the 2013 Venice Biennale, Armenia will present its pavilion on the San Lazzaro degli Armeni, at the Mekhitarist Monastery.
“The curatorial concept of Armenity,” the organization wrote in a news release, “implies the notion of displacement and territory, justice and reconciliation, ethos and resilience.
This year’s Venice Biennale, the 56th, is being organized by Okwui Enwezor. It opens to the public on Saturday, May 9, and runs through November 22.
